Patient's Choice – say thank you
THE CLAIRE RAYNER PATIENT'S CHOICE AWARD
Nursing Standard received hundreds of moving nominations for the Claire Rayner Patient's Choice Award - a special award that gives the general public the chance to say thank you to a nurse* who has made a real difference to their health care or that of a loved one.
Jean Gray, Editor-in-Chief of Nursing Standard, Rhonda Oliver, Managing Director of RCN Publishing and Katherine Murphy, Chief Executive of the Patients Association reviewed the nominations. Four inspirational finalists have been shortlisted and the general public will be invited to vote for the nurse they feel is most deserving of the award.
Voting opens on Wednesday 1 February 2012 and closes on Friday 16 March 2012.
